is owned by:    Agriturismo Podere Campo Gallina.

The location/terrain of our agriturismo has been listed in the registers since 1123 under the name Campo Gallina.  Around 1824 the farm was built, as far as we have been able to find out for the then mayor of Santa Fiora. (that is hearsay...)

At that time it was given the name Podere Campo Gallina. ( translated 'Farm chicken field') 

To become an agriturismo, many rules must be met, such as becoming a farmer and planting multiple olive trees. So we are an 'olive farmer' with two Bed & Breakfast rooms.

The agriturismo has about 280 olive trees. 80 trees were already there when we moved here, in 2024 another 200 will be planted.
